The Sweet Spot is a 28 foot Trophy Series Bayliner fiberglass charter vessel. Her net weight is 8 tons, she has a 10 ft. beam and draws 4 ft.
She is powered by an I/O Chevrolet Marine powerhouse boasting 300 HP which cruises up to 25 mph.
The boat is certified by the U.S. Coast Guard for safety & has state of the art electronics to keep you and your party on course to your fishing trip.
Captain Ward resides in Poquoson VA, a small fishing community on the lower Chesapeake Bay. For 35 years, he has gained his knowledge of the local rivers, bays and oceans from his father Melvin (retired commercial fisherman) and the generations of Ward fisherman before them dating back to the 1800's.
This legacy is now being shared with his sons Danton and Orien and of course; recreationally with his family.
